Abstract

The rapid development of information technology is drving efficiency in data processing across various sectors, including the defense industry. PT Pindad (Persero), as a strategic state-owned enterprise (BUMN), is responsible for producing high-quality products that meet national and international standards. One crucial aspect supporting product quality is the implementation of Quality Control (QC) at every stage of production, from raw material testing to final product inspection. However, the manual process of recording test results results in poorly documented data, difficult to track, unintegrated, and inaccessible in real time, creating challenges in quality control. This research aims to design and build a website-based information system for reporting Quality Control test results at PT Pindad (Persero). This system is designed to support digital test data recording, improve accuracy, and facilitate information integration between Quality Control, Production, and Management. The method used in this research is Rapid Application Development (RAD) with modeling using the Unified Modeling Language (UML), which includes use case diagrams, activity diagrams, class diagrams, and sequence diagrams. The developed system has main modules including master data management, product testing, defect recording, corrective actions, and report generation. The system testing process was conducted using a black-box testing approach to ensure functionality meets requirements.
