Digital transformation encourages businesses to utilize information systems to improve operational efficiency and financial management quality. However, most Point of Sale (POS) systems used by micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) do not yet provide integrated commercial zakat calculation features in accordance with sharia economic principles. This study aims to design and develop an Integrated Cashier Information System with Commercial Zakat Calculation at the Vanesha Tekstil Fabric Store to support transaction management, financial report preparation, and automatic zakat calculation. The research method used is the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with a Waterfall model that includes the stages of needs analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The system design was carried out using the Unified Modeling Language (UML), while the implementation resulted in a cashier application that is able to manage data on goods, customers, suppliers, sales and purchase transactions, financial reports, and commercial zakat calculations based on business net assets with a rate of 2.5% in accordance with sharia provisions. The results of the study indicate that the developed system is able to improve the accuracy of transaction recording, accelerate the preparation of financial reports, simplify the calculation of commercial zakat, and improve business management efficiency. This system is expected to be one of the implementations of a Sharia-based digital transformation that can help MSMEs improve financial accountability while fulfilling their zakat obligations more easily, accurately, transparently, and on time.
