JEPAL (Journal of English Pedagogy and Applied Linguistics) is an open-access, peer-reviewed scholarly journal dedicated to the advancement of knowledge in English language education, linguistics, applied linguistics, and English literature. JEPAL is published biannually, in July and January, by the English Education Department, Masoem University, Indonesia. The journal welcomes original research articles, theoretical analyses, and critical reviews from scholars, educators, and practitioners, especially those focusing on EFL (English as a Foreign Language) contexts.
For authors, the review process to acceptance takes an average of 1 to 2 months, and submissions are handled through an online system that allows authors to monitor the status of their articles. Since Volume 5, Number 1, each issue has contained ten articles. Furthermore, there has been a change in the template since Volume 6, Number 1.
